Priss Benbow is Fellow at Stanford University’s Distinguished Careers Institute. She has over 25 years of experience in public relations and, as president of her firm, created and executed public relations strategies and directed media campaigns to raise the visibility and credibility of client CEOs and their companies.
During her career, Ms. Benbow has worked with journalists in 17 countries and her clients have had articles published in or aired on the world’s most recognized media. Before founding Benbow International PR, Ms. Benbow worked in The White House press office where she served as a liaison to the White House press corps and held a top secret security clearance. She worked also as a consultant at Bain & Company, the international management consulting firm. While at Stanford, she has developed an interest in social impact organizations and is applying her skills in public relations to secure media coverage of the global refugee crisis.
Ms. Benbow has longstanding volunteer roles in community service in the areas of homelessness and education. She earned an MA at the Annenberg School at the University of Southern California, and has taught classes in public relations as an Instructor at Stanford Continuing Studies.
